EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps you process and release traumatic memories. If past experiences still trigger anxiety, panic, emotional overwhelm or symptoms of PTSD, EMDR can help your nervous system finally let go. Rather than talking endlessly about what happened, EMDR works with the brain’s natural healing ability—allowing distressing memories to lose their emotional charge, so they no longer control your thoughts, feelings or reactions. Many clients experience relief faster than with traditional talk therapy like counselling or CBT. This therapy is gentle, structured and highly effective for trauma, PTSD, phobias, panic attacks, childhood experiences and emotionally overwhelming events. You don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode. With EMDR, healing isn’t about forgetting the past—it’s about freeing yourself from its grip so you can feel calmer, safer and fully present in your life again. Sessions also include use of the HAVENING technique to rapidly reduce severe or overwhelming emotions.
